Steel Plate - A514 Grade B |
| Description |
This structural
quenched and tempered plate is for general use where higher strength permits
reduction in gross design weight. Offers exceptional strength, toughness,
impact-abrasion resistance and long-term economy.
|
|
Typical Application |
For general
structural uses where its great strength permits reduction in weight by
use of smaller cross-sectional area. Applications include: earthmoving equipment,
building and bridge construction, truck frames and bodies, storage tanks,
missile transporters and launchers, oil field rigs, machinery transporters,
booms (lattice-type and telescopic), drilling barges, bulk cargo container
frames, and many others.
